Netflix Synopsis: Derek Charles (Idris Elba) seems to have it all — including the perfect job and the perfect wife (Beyoncé Knowles). But his charmed life takes on an ugly tarnish when sexy office worker Lisa Sheridan (Ali Larter) sets out to seduce and destroy him. Now, it’s much more than a dangerous liaison; it’s a full-blown occupational hazard. Christine Lahti and Jerry O’Connell co-star in this Fatal Attraction-style thriller from director Steve Shill.

I do not often watch suspense/thriller movies, but Beyonce (and Ali Larter) caught my eye in this one. They certainly battle for the top spot in this movie in more ways than one. I have to say I was a little disappointed as it played on – it really came to feel like a remake of the Michael Douglas and Glenn Close hit, “Fatal Attraction.”

The premise of the movie came across as believable and the pieces fit together. As the dominoes fall and the movie unfolds, the thoughts have to cross your mind to figure out how you would handle the situation differently. Clearly, this is entertainment and fiction, but the way the plot is presented, it does make you wonder. The villian is sick, but sick people exist in this world and it is something to think about.
